This year we so many great topics that you'll wish you could clone yourself any take all 7 workshops! We have a mix of everything and some brand new instructors and performers that have now made Atlanta their home. We'll add West Coast, New York and Midwest Flair to our event as these ladies have either moved to the ATL or are coming down just to vend at our event or take classes and perform in the show! And, we're in a new location with more parking, an on-site restaurant, easy access to the highway and airport, discounted hotel rooms and free breakfast if you are staying on site at the hotel. Atlanta BellyPalooza II , is the brain child of Sarjana and Jendayi of Atlanta Belly Dancing Studio's, Inc. The idea is to promote local Atlanta BellyDance Instructors and to build camaraderie is the local bellydance community. We modeled our event after a similar one in Baltimore, MD. This is the 2nd year for our event. Atlanta is blessed with some of the best bellydance talent in the US, some of these wonderful ladies are very well known, some are new to Atlanta and some are Atlanta's best kept secrets. Our goal is to showcase our own bellydance stars and provide you with great opportunities. As a student, if you are looking for a new bellydance instructor and really like her style, she won't be half-way across the country. You can take ongoing classes with her right here in town. As a professional performer, you now have the venue to promote yourself and your dance classes and become involved in Atlanta's Bellydance Community, make friends, and learn of performance and troupe opportunities. Our workshops are easy on your budget and allow you to try out a variety of instructors and styles of dance. They are based on a "buffet" concept ~each workshop is 90 minutes and costs only $20.00 (in advance) for each person per workshop. Yes.. I said $20.00! If you pay at the door the cost is $25.00 per person per workshop. Workshops are divided up by tracks, but you are not required to stick to a specific track. You can pick whatever workshop you like at the time slotted. You can spend the entire day with these amazing teachers without breaking your bank and come away with tangible results that you can pursue through group or private lessons with these beautiful and talented ladies. These instructors are located all over Atlanta ~ from Lawrenceville to Marietta and all points in between, so there is always someone convenient to you. Here is a brief breakdown of our tracks and schedule. For a complete schedue, click here.
